8. Thought for the Week: Our Teachers - As we begin a new school year it is a good time to ask God’s blessings on our teachers. There is a lovely saying that says a teacher affects eternity and that we can never tell where their influence stops. We ask God to gently guide and direct them in all the great work they do each day. Help them to face all the challenges of the year ahead. May they have a happy and rewarding year.

Wasseem is only 25 km away from some of the floods. He and his parishioners have been working tirelessly, helping to bring supplies to those in need. Fr. Wasseem is well known to us here in our parish as he has visited us for the past two years. Some parishioners have been enquiring how best to help, so, if you wish to leave a donation into the sacristy or to Fr. Cathal, it would be very much appreciated.
