Kilbarrack is a coastal northern suburb of Dublin city, lying inland from the "blue lagoon" behind Bull Island (Raheny Lake or Crab Water) and the Howth Road and on either side of Kilbarrack Road. It is bounded by Raheny citywards, Baldoyle towards Howth Head and Donaghmede to the north. Foxfield is the part of Raheny adjoining Kilbarrack.
The main roads for Kilbarrack are Howth Road (city access and coastal boundary), the coastal part of which has a specific cycle path, and Kilbarrack Road (continuing Tonlegee Road, forming the boundary with Donaghmede for a distance).
Kilbarrack / Foxfield area has access to the DART (city commuter electric rail system) at Kilbarrack, Howth Junction and Raheny Stations. The Parish area is also served by a number of bus routes (31, 31a, 31b, 32, 32a, 32b), both to and from the city centre and across the Northside. The Dublin Bus website has a fine route and timetable facility. The Church is located close to the DART station and under ten minutes walk from the coastal bus route, as well as close to the 17A Kilbarrack-Finglas terminus. There are more than thirty spaces in the car park, of which three are reserved for disabled drivers.
