Any child who does not attend a school under the patronage of the Catholic Archdiocese of Dublin and would like to receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion or the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Parish Of St. John the Evangelist, must first register with the Parish in order to receive appropriate religious instruction for the 2 years preceding the sacraments.
Classes are held weekly on Tuesday afternoons from late September/October until May in the Parish Centre beside the church. All children must complete 2 years of classes for each sacrament.
If you wish your child to receive either sacrament in our Parish, please register with the Parish by completing this form prior to starting any classes and we will email you with further details.
