No Mass in Church due to Covid 19

Dear Parishioners,
It is now three weeks since the churches in Dublin have had to close for all church services. We can now practise our faith online and via streaming. While this ls better than nothing It has left many of us with a feeling of loss. Many children who were to be Baptised and Confirmed and receive their 1st Holy Communion have been left disappointed as well as their parents. So many of you went to so much effort and trouble at the end of June so our churches could reopen. It involved cleaning, sanitising and stewarding. Whatever the church was asked to do we, as a parish, did.
Let us hope and pray that this deadly virus can be brought under control so our churches can reopen soon for Mass and other sacraments.
