The Building Hope Prayer
Pilgrim God, we give you thanks and praise. You constantly journey with us even in our darkness and doubts. We seek your way of loving kindness to walk together as one family.
Open our eyes to recognise you in the faces of one another,
in the breaking of bread and in the splendour of creation. May the risen Christ sow seeds of hope and new life deep within us. May our hearts and minds be filled with your Word, bringing forth truth, justice and peace. May the Holy Spirit working in and through us do much more than we can dare to imagine as we live out our baptismal calling in humble and loving service. We make this our prayer through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Reflection on Sunday’s Readings
‘It is the Lord!’
In this Easter season, we see the strength of those who have witnessed the resurrection. Through them, we too witness the love of the risen Christ and power of his resurrection, even in times of terror and persecution.
Our Gospel passage relates how the risen Christ shows himself to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and how he challenges Peter to affirm his love three times.
Perhaps this week we, too, can praise the Lord for all the signs of resurrection around us, as we see the mystery of his Passion and resurrection in our world. We also continue to pray for peace across the world, and especially for the people of Ukraine and eastern Europe.
Mission Impossible!

Prayer for Ukraine
Holy and Gracious God. We pray for the people of Ukraine and the people of Russia, for their countries and their leaders. We pray for all those who are afraid; that your everlasting arms hold them in this time of great fear.
We pray for all those who have the power over life and death; that they will choose for all people life, and life in all its fullness. We pray for those who choose war; that they will remember that you direct your people to turn our swords into ploughshares and seek for peace. We pray for leaders on the world stage; that they are inspired by the wisdom and courage of Christ. Above all, Lord, today we pray for peace for Ukraine. And we ask this in the name of your blessed Son. Lord have mercy. Amen.
Eucharistic Adoration
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place from 11am – 3pm from Tuesday to Friday each week.
