Masses Online
Masses in our Church are all on Webcam only – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 10am; Thursday 7.30pm (and Divine Mercy Hour). Sunday 12noon. See www.kilbarrackfoxfieldparish.ie. Details of other Churches also on our website. Every second Sunday RTE1 Mass at 11am and on the alternate weeks, Mass is celebrated on RTE Now at 2.15pm. Weekday Masses from RTE News Now at 10.30am. Those without internet can hear 10am Mass Monday-Friday on Radio Maria by phoning 01-437-3277 from a landline, then press the speaker symbol on your phone.

Act of Spiritual Communion
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

Service of the Healing of the Generations
The Service of the Healing of the Generations (Family Tree) will take place today Sunday, 28th March, in our Church, led by Fr Cathal and team, commencing with Holy Mass at 7pm and concluding at 8pm. Access on the webcam.

Solemn Celebration of Our Lord’s Passion at 3pm.
Holy Saturday, 3rd April Solemn Mass of the Easter Vigil 9pm.
Easter Sunday, 4th April Mass 12noon.
** We are aware that many people are anxious about the difficulty of not having Confession available because of Covid. We wish to assure everyone that the ceremony of Reconciliation Rite III gives a general absolution to each participant who is sorry for any sins and is determined to avoid such sins in the future.
***We suggest that people have a crucifix for this 3pm celebration to allow you to kiss the cross at home.
Each week our Lenten garden in front of the altar will reflect the message of the Sunday Gospel.

We would love to receive flowers or plants for our Easter Garden and ask you to bring them to the Church during Holy Week – they can be left at the back of the Church.
Weekly Reflection on the Scriptures
Contact Sr Phyllis at 086-890-9488 with your email address and join us on Zoom any Monday night 7.30-8.30pm to reflect on the liturgy for the following Sunday. It is so rewarding and enhances participation at Mass on the day.
Reflection on Today’s Gospel
‘Hosanna in the highest. Blessed are you, who have come in your abundant mercy!’
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week with Jesus entering Jerusalem on a donkey, as the cheering crowd joyfully proclaims ‘Hosanna’, waving palm branches.
As the story of the Passion unfolds in the Gospel, the mood soon changes. The chief priests see Jesus as a threat to their religious authority, so they plot to bring about his end. The crowd turns on Jesus, shouting ‘Crucify him’. We are with Jesus in his suffering to his last breath, hearing those desolate words, ‘My God, my God why have you deserted me?’
As we accompany Jesus through Holy Week, no matter what trials we may be facing, let’s pray for confidence in God’s presence, that we may be strengthened by it and filled with hope as we look forward to Easter.

Tony Bates, eminent psychologist, through Rotary Ireland, will host a webinar ‘Looking after your mental health’ on Monday 12th April at 1pm. It is a free event with unlimited attendees. Trócaire
A very moving letter came this week from Fr James Oyet Latansio in South Sudan telling of a family who were displaced and all their belongings washed away in the Nile. On hearing their story to Fr James who said ‘how can I help you?’ one of the children said ‘we just want a plastic sheet to sleep under and shelter from the rain’. The plea from Fr James is: “Please don’t leave South Sudan alone; please help give these families a chance to survive; give your support with prayers and donations now. Help me give my people hope.” Please send donations urgently either in the Trócaire boxes or donate at www.trócaire.org

In life, you will fall out with people you never thought you would, be betrayed by people you trusted with all your heart. And get used by people for whom you would do anything. The Kindest Souls
Some of the kindest souls I know have lived in a world
that was not so kind to them. Some of the best human beings I know have been through so much at the hands of others, and they still love deeply, they still care.
Sometimes, it’s the people who have been hurt the most who refuse to be hardened in this world, because they would never want to make another person feel the same way they have felt.
