My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place from 11am-3pm, Tuesday to Friday each week.
Pope Francis
Francis used some of his strongest words this week in a speech to ambassadors accredited to the Holy See, calling for people to get vaccinated. Francis has termed vaccination as “an act of love” and that refusing to get inoculated was “suicidal.” On Monday he went a step further, saying that individuals had a responsibility to care for themselves “and this translates into respect for the health of those around us. Health care is a moral obligation,” he asserted.
Reflection on Today’s Gospel
In the First Reading this week, Isaiah uses the imagery of a wedding to show how the deep love of God for his people will transform our lives. ‘As the bridegroom rejoices in his bride so will your God rejoice in you’.
Another wedding scene is described in today’s Gospel. At the beginning of his public life, Jesus’s love and care transforms a wedding feast from disaster to joyous celebration by turning water into wine. Second reading – St Paul teaches the church in Corinth about how God works through the different people in the church so that they (and we) can use their gifts in a variety of ways in his service, united by the one Spirit working through them all to transform the lives of others. In what ways do we need the Lord to transform our lives this week?

The Week of Prayer for Church Unity
Archbishop Farrell invites us to the inauguration of The Week of Prayer, 18th–25th January, will take place at an interdenominational service in St Anthony’s Church, Clontarf, on Tuesday 18th at 8pm, available on webcam. This week is a privileged moment for prayer, encounter and dialogue. It is an opportunity to recognise and receive the richness and value that are present in the other, the different and to ask God for the gift of unity. They are taking so many things with them:

They are packing away the picnics
